You have a unique opportunity to support the Scottish Arts and the outstanding athletes competing in the 2017 USIR while making a tax deductible donation.
The Federation of United States Teachers and Adjudicators (FUSTA) was established in 1980 to promote Scottish Highland Dancing and culture in the United States and to provide a "community" system for teachers and judges of Highland dancing.
FUSTA spearheads the United States Inter-Regional Championship (USIR) held annually which features U.S. dancers who have qualified to represent their region as they compete for the title of United States Highland Dance Champion. The weekend event rotates among the 6 geographic regions which encompass all 50 states: East, Midwest, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, and West.
In addition to the USIR Championship there are 2 additional days of competition for dancers of all levels, social events, and a banquet dinner honoring the FUSTA Hall of Fame inductee, FUSTA scholarship winners and the 2017 USIR Finalists. The Northwest region is proud to present the 2017 USIR in Salt Lake City, July 20-23, 2017.
